Is it a natural phenomenon or a man-made one? How does the anomaly change in the region? How does it vary among different seasons of the year? Are there any regularityin the spatial distribution and seasonal variation? What is the mechanism behind the occurrence of the phenomenon? The objective of this study is to uncover the mystery behind the thermal anomaly through a thorough examination from remote sensing analysis,ground truth measurement, numerical simulation and micro-meteorological modeling.为什么该地区会出现热异常？是自然现象还是人为现象？该地区的异常变化如何？在一年中不同的季节它是如何变化的？空间分布和季节变化有规律吗？这种现象发生的机制是什么？本研究旨在透过遥感分析、地面真值测量、数值模拟及微气象模拟等方法，揭示热异常背后的奥秘。

具有丰富的国际合作研究经验。于1994年到以色列发展研究中心（Development Study Center）参加区域规划和农村发展高级培训班,期间独立完成>研究,并出版中英文两本专著。自参加工作以来，参予了多项国家和农业部科技攻关和重点科技项目的研究,主持过农业部重点科技项目、国家自然基金项目和国家社会科技基金项目的研究。
