《航海英语听力与会话(普通高等教育规划教材)》(作者阮巍)在“上海海事大学第三批重点课程建设项目——航海类专业英语课程群”建设成果的基础上进行编写。《航海英语听力与会话(普通高等教育规划教材)》共分六章。第一章为驾驶台操作，介绍各种舵令、车钟令、靠离泊令、移泊和系解浮筒口令的使用；第二章为VHF通信，主要介绍各种VHF通信程序和应用；第三章为港口国安全和保安检查，主要介绍在各种安全检查情形下船舶驾驶员的常见会话内容；第四章为应急操作，为各种应急情况下船舶驾驶员的常见会话内容；第五章为货物作业，为船舶装卸货作业过程中船舶驾驶员的常见会话内容；第六章为代理业务，为船舶驾驶员通常接触的代理业务的会话内容。
