前言
电子商务是互联网时代的产物,随着互联网的高速发展,电子商务已经不是一个单纯的商业概念,是一个以互联网支撑的集信息流、商流、资金流、物流为一体的整个贸易过程。它不仅会改变企业本身的生产、经营、管理活动,而且将影响到整个社会的经济运行与结构。
随着internet的快速发展,中国的网民数量每年都以惊人的速度在增长,根据Analysys易观智库预测数据显示,2015年中国移动互联网用户规模达到7.9亿人,较2014年增长了8.4%。预计到2018年,中国移动互联网用户规模将达到8.9亿人。电子商务在中国的迅猛发展,再加上第三方支付平台及安全性的赶上,促进网络购物的快速发展,进而使得网络购物成为当今社会的一种时尚,而且网络购物也正从PC端不断向移动端渗透。预计未来几年中国移动购物将继续保持高速增长态势。
当前,电商的迅猛发展对电商人才的综合素质提出了更高的要求,以往只需要懂得一些基础的商务和计算机知识,能开网店,能在网上完成销售即达到了人才培养的要求。但是,随着技术的不断更新换代,电子商务有了更多新的发展方向,例如:农业电子商务、移动电子商务、跨境电子商务等等,这些新的方向不仅融合了技术的更新,更加需要学生能紧跟时代的步伐,不断的进行知识的更新。毫无疑问,掌握电子商务英语对电子商务技术的更新和商务模式的发展有极大的促进作用。
本书的编写以简洁、实用、实际为原则,依据高职院校电商专业学生的学习特点,在内容编排上紧跟时代发展的步伐,选取了目前最新、最权威的英文原始数据资料,强化了学生的英文阅读能力,这也是本书编写的一大特色。同时,在单元内容安排中也增加了主题篇章相关阅读材料进行辅助,课后的练习部分安排了多样化的题型,依据原文但又不拘泥于原文,达到让学生举一反三的效果。本书既可作为高职院校电子商务及相关专业的教学教材使用也可作为对电子商务行业感兴趣的同学自学拓展教材进行学习。
编者长期从事高职院校行业英语教学,教学经验丰富,本教材也是湖北省职业技术教育学会科学研究课题基于互联网多平台互动的行业英语教学一体化设计的研究与探索(课题编号ZJGB201529)的研究成果之一。
本书由李莹莹、杨雯娟担任主编,由王红丽担任副主编,第一、二、五章由武汉商贸职业学院的杨雯娟编写;第三、四章由武汉商贸职业学院的李莹莹编写;第六、七、八章由武汉商贸职业学院的王红丽编写;李莹莹负责本书的总体设计以及统稿工作。
